Visual Artist

Dana Constantin was born in Târgu-Mureș, Romania, on 12 July 1962. In 1988, she majored in Painting at the ‘Ion Andreescu’ Institute of Plastic Arts, Faculty of Plastic and Decorative Arts in Cluj-Napoca. She is a visual artist/painter and a professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the West University of Timișoara, Romania. She has had an intense artistic activity and has exhibited in many galleries and museums both in the country and abroad. In Romania: 18 solo exhibitions, over 60 group exhibitions, over 50 collective exhibitions, over 15 national exhibitions, and 8 national biennales. Abroad: 3 solo exhibitions, over 27 group exhibitions, 5 Romanian art exhibitions (under auspices of certain ministries or cultural foundations), and 15 international biennales.
